Hooves of Hope is a powerful gathering at the intersection of people, planet, and purpose — where the rhythms of pastoral life meet the urgency of global change. This event brings together scientists, pastoralists, and policymakers to explore how grazing systems, when managed wisely, can restore rangelands, build soil carbon, and contribute meaningfully to climate solutions.

Through compelling science and lived experience, we’ll hear from pastoralist communities working to sustain their cultures while participating in evolving global food systems, alongside policymakers shaping pathways for secure land tenure and recognition of ecological stewardship. Anchored in the spirit of Earth Day and aligned with the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, Hooves of Hope is a call to reimagine pastoralism — not as a relic of the past, but as a vital force for a more resilient and equitable future.
