Why the IYRP Should Matter to the U.S. Government

On June 7, 2021, the North American IYRP Support Group delivered a 45-minute webinar. This presentation was targeted to US government agencies and other US stakeholder groups. The objective of the webinar was to provide a "one-stop-shop" for information concerning (1) Purpose and scope of the IYRP initiative; (2) history of the IYRP process; (3) review of the draft action plan for the IYRP; (4) why the US federal government should support the IYRP; and (5) how the US federal government can facilitate approval of the IYRP proposal by the United Nations General Assembly in September 2021.
