Highlights of the session:
- Strategic advocacy: Sam Ikua shared practical recommendations for youth to influence global food governance through data and coalition building.
- Legal tools: Raffaele Morgantini (CETIM) discussed how to operationalize the UN Declaration on the Rights of Peasants and Other People Working in Rural Areas (UNDROP) to protect pastoralist rights.
- Global youth roundtable: Youth leaders from Bolivia, Mali, Jordan, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Sri Lanka, and Germany shared their grassroots innovations and the challenges they face in leadership roles.
