This is an invitation to the International Seminar "Mountain Ecosystems, Pastoralists and Rangelands: State of Knowledge and Opportunities for Innovation and Technological Development", which will take place from October 20th to 23rd, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (Peru time / UTC-5), under the virtual modality within the framework of the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYPP 2026).
The event will bring together national and international specialists to address issues related to ecosystem-based rangeland management, the use of geospatial technologies, the relationship between wildlife and rangelands, and the political ecology of pastoralist societies.
This invitation is aimed to bring undergraduate and graduate students, professionals, representatives of State institutions, as well as the public interested in the conservation and sustainable management of mountain ecosystems.
