Sewing Messages of Peace and Hope

Women from different pastoralist groups from the state of Maharashtra gathered in Pune, Western India, stitch hopes and dreams onto fabric. They send messages of solidarity and peace to their sisters across the world as they celebrate IYRP, IYWF and International Women's Day. They discussed their lives and livelihoods in different ways: through songs, stories and handicrafts.
