  • A world of pastoral enthusiasts. In this document, eminent scientist and author, Dr. Ilse Köhler-Rollefson explores the pastoral culture in Odisha, India, through interactions and field visits with pastoral groups trained by Dr. Balaram Sahu under Pathe Pathshala. 

  • Ministry of Animal Husbandry Dairying and Fisheries, Government of India, has now announced special programmes for the Pastoral communities. This is the first instance where the Indian government has recognised pastoralists for directly availing the government programmes and schemes.
